Happy Birthday to Me!!!
It was my 1 month old birthday yesterday, and mommie when out to Babbies r' Us and got a bunch of new clothes for me. None of them fit me quite yet because she bought me all the 3- 6 month size but they looked pretty cool. We were out for over 4 hours and I was really good and slept the whole time. Mommie and Daddie brought the stroller and I thought it was so great to get wheeled around so soothing. Mommie was so impressed.... little did she know what was going to happen next.
When we got home and my diaper was changed to wake me up I was soooo hungry. I started to eat and I ate and ate and ate. I could not be consoled unless I was having a little suckle on the magic milk jugs. I really confused Mommie and Daddie because they couldn't figure out what was going on with me. Mommie really thought that I couldn't be that hungry to want to be feeding as much as I did. So they were changing my diaper like mad and trying to rock me while walking up and down the hallway all the while I was screaming and caterwalling. The few times that I was quite I had the following look to give them.
I finally ended my nursing tantrum, as Mommie likes to call it, by 2 in the morning and went to sleep. I only slept for a few hours before I was up again and had another 20 minutes of milk jug time and then I was off to dreamland again for a few more hours.
Today was a better day! Our outing for the day was only to the grocery store and Mommie decided to try and use the sling that Grannie McLeod gave us. It was great fun to be carried around in the sling because I got to see everything and was actually awake for most of the outing. Mommie was very impressed with how quiet I was too. Again it was all about to change. When we got back to the car Mommie did a very bad thing and took me out of the sling. I mean how dare she take me out of this great warm pouch that I was in to put me in the car seat and strap me down. I showed her and cried the whole drive home. The moment we got into the driveway I decided it was time to stop. I then got to have some more Milk Jug time and am now having a great time in the sling again while Mommie helped Daddie prepare the dinner.
That is pretty much all that is new for now. Besides I think I should go and put all my concentration into pooping. Nite Nite
