Whirlwind
Things are all crazy right now. We were in BC for about a week when we were only suppose to be there for one night. I think I will let Mommie tell you the whole story because I am a little sleepy right now.
When Earl and I went to the airport they told us that they could not issue us the visa that we have been on for the last three years. Apparently Earl should never have been issued this particular type of visa even though he has been issued it 6 times in the past. He only has one year of education and he is suppose to have two years of education. So they told us they could not issue the visa this time and that we had a very sort time to return to the US and pack up our belongings. However they could not let us enter the US that day. So we turned around and headed back into Vancouver and then on to Comox. After a week of working on getting information together from both our immigration lawyer and the company that Earl was higher by we have returned to Moorpark. Apparently another type of visa is being worked on and we don't know what the likelihood is that they will issue it to Earl. So we are working on packing up all our belongings and heading back to Canada to wait. We are going to put everything into storage here and possibly driving back home to wait for the visa application. If it goes through we will drive back down and see if we can find a new place to live.
We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow but no health insurance right now so the cash rate is at least $100.00. It seems when it rains it pours when you hit some financial tight spots. Earl and I have decided it is best to go and see the doctor however because of the resent gestational diabetes diagnosis and because we also had an ultrasound done. We want to know if there were any anomalies seen in the measurements that were taken.
I will try and keep everyone up to date here as things change. We have a few phone calls to make tomorrow and hope we will find out a bit more information to make an informed decision about our next move.
